Cineflex – gyro-stabilised high-definition aerial camera system.
The Cineflex camera system leads the production and broadcast industry with its unparalleled gyro-stabilisation. Developed by Axsys Technologies, a division of General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems based in the US, Cineflex is a 5-axis gyro-stabilised gimbal assembly delivering 1080p HD imagery. The gimbal is nose- or side-mounted, depending on the helicopter type, while the operator steers the camera from the inside of the aircraft. The Cineflex can operate at up to a speed of 320 km/h and features the ability of 360° pan, 195° tilt and +/- 45° roll (+/- 25° roll on a Cineflex V14 MS II), automatic and steerable, all with amazing stability and precision. It accepts several Canon and Fujinon lenses for optical zoom capabilities ranging from the widest to the longest focal length available. This gives you endless cinematography possibilities for all your filming needs.
In addition to aerial platforms, this system has proven capability mounted on cars, boats, cable and rail systems and other mobile platforms. It provides the smoothest shots even in the most rugged conditions around the world. The Cineflex meets the most exacting requirements of motion picture directions, as well as surveillance and utility monitoring operations.
To cut a long story short, I always fall in love all over again with this awesome camera system!
